Threats to fire safety are known as fire hazards. A fire can include a situation that increases the likelihood of a fire may start or may impede escape in case of fire.
Fire safety refers to precautions taken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of a fire that can cause death, injury or property damage, alert a structure to the presence of an uncontrolled fire in the case it occurs, better enable threatened by a fire to survive, or to reduce damage caused by fire. Fire safety measures include those that are planned during the construction of a building or implemented in structures that are now in place, and those who are taught to building occupants.
Fire safety is important for all businesses and a good reflection of you and your organization. Fires can occur in the most unlikely of circumstances and fires can kill!
